Description. First 2.8 miles is up a shallow sloped rocky road. At the Kulana'ahane Trail sign cross the stream bed then take the trail on the right that climbs steeply up the hill. Very steep 2,000 climb over the next 2 miles to the summit. A few really steep sections with ropes to help from slipping - gloves would be a good to have.
